On December 3, 2020, as part of a project sponsored by The Global Kaiteki Center at ASU, three different asphalt mixtures (Control, 10% aMBx, and 30% aMBx) were produced in collaboration with Southwest Asphalt, a division of Fisher Industries. These mixtures were used to construct three test sections and three test slabs at their asphalt plant in Litchfield Park, Arizona. A total of 33 tons of asphalt, equivalent to 15m³ of HMA mixtures was produced.
